Nursing At Home
Clinical Nursing led care, in the comfort of your home
Many customers turn to Alpha Quality Care as we can support them with nursing care in their own home, rather than having to resort to a residential home. Overseen by our clinical nursing team and network of regional trainers our professional carers are trained and supervised to support with a wide array of complex medical interventions.
Sometimes called a Personal Assistant or Support Worker, we work closely with customers, their families and existing professionals to ensure that personal care needs are met and lifestyles maintained.

Neurological Care:
Neurological conditions result from damage to the brain, spinal column or nerves, caused by illness or injury. Many of the precise causes of neurological conditions are not yet known.
Some neurological conditions are life-long and people can experience onset at any time in their lives. There are also conditions which have a sudden onset due to injury or illness, such as a head injury or stroke, or cancers of the brain and spine.
Some neurodegenerative conditions, such as multiple sclerosis and motor neurone, affect people mainly in adulthood and will cause deterioration overtime, affecting a person’s quality of life and their ability to live independently. Some neurological conditions are life threatening, most of them severely affect people’s quality of life and many cause life-long disability.

Spinal code injury
Our carers will provide specialist nursing care for spinal cord injury patients. You carer can support you with daily tasks as well as medical care so that you can continue to live in the comfort of your own home.
Stroke
A stroke or a transient ischaemic attack (TIA) can have a life-changing impact on a person. It doesn’t just affect the individual – it affects the entire family.
Alpha Quality Care provides nursing-led stroke aftercare services. With these stroke support services we enable you or your loved ones to receive nursing-led care without having to move from the family home.
Acquired brain injury
Brain injuries can throw entire families into a messy condition. The aftermath is an incredibly stressful period for those that have sustained them, as well as their loved ones. Many people affected are left needing round-the-clock brain injury support. This is where we come in and provide the care you need in your own surrounding.
Muscular Dystrophy
We can provide you with specialist care if you or a loved one has a muscle wasting condition. Medical care doesn’t always have to mean a trip to the hospital. We can provide you with nursing led care for your condition, especially when you need regular treatments, mobility assistance or physical therapies. We are here to help you with continence care, cough assistance and bed turning. Specially trained Alpha Quality Care carers can also provide ventilator care at home. Our carers will have regular contact with your doctor and other medical professionals that assist you to ensure that we provide you with treatment and care that is specific to your medical need
Huntingdons Disease
Our fully trained staff are able to provide a range of high quality services and care to help you and your family manage the different challenges of Huntington’s disease without the need of you or your loved one leaving their/your home.
Ventilator Care
Alpha Quality Care ventilator nursing-led care services can help ventilated customers requiring both BiPAP and CPAP nursing care in their own homes. Our carers are trained by the Clinical Nurse Specialist to ensure their competency to meet all of the clinical needs our our customers, our clinicians have vast amounts of experience in the care of ventilated patients. You can rest assured that our team of clinicians, are trained and qualified to operate BiPAP and CPAP machines.
Continence and Bladder management care.
When you choose continence nursing-led care from Alpha Quality Care, be it for yourself or a loved one, our registered nurses will assess your needs, and deliver a tailored continence care plan. We take existing lifestyle into account when delivering our bladder and bowel care services, and endeavour to help our customers to live a comfortable life.
Tracheostomy care
We also know that living an independent lifestyle with a tracheostomy is easily achievable with the right support from our team of expert Clinicians. Following an assessment with a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you’ll be matched with a Care Team who possesses the correct experience and the right personality, to support you in your daily routine, because of the intensity of these needs across a 24 hour timescale more than one carer may be required to meet your needs safely in your own home.
PEG Gastrostomy care
Our carers work to ensure that customers can enjoy an independent life whilst receiving PEG care. We can help you or your loved ones with the management of food and fluid intake through daily feeding tube care, taking any dietary requirements into account. They can also support with any medication you or they might be taking.
